Silver End is a unique village, which was created by window maker, Francis Crittall, to house his factory workers in the 1920s. Transport
Silver End lies around 60miles north east of London, midway between Braintree and Witham, at around five miles each, and Colchester and Chelmsford, around 13 miles each. The A12 passes to the south, linking to the M25 and London beyond, while the A120 passes to the north, linking to the M11.
