Barony Park is on the western edge of Peebles and is surrounded by the stunning countryside of the Scottish Borders. The town has won awards for its high street full of independent shops, pubs and restaurants and there are plenty of other amenities and facilities to keep the family entertained. This lovely development offers a variety of two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Peebles is well placed for journeys to Edinburgh and Glasgow as it's halfway between the two main routes from England through the Borders. The M74 is to the west and the A7 to the east. There's a direct route from the town up to Edinburgh too, so you've got good options if you need to commute. If you want to stretch your legs after a week at work, or for a family outing, the Pentland Hills Regional Park is just the place to head for.

Barony Park has the benefit of being near to the wonderful city of Edinburgh. The city is renowned as being one of the best shopping venues in Scotland, along with its fascinating history, making it a popular destination. Edinburgh has a great choice of historic places to visit such as the majestic castle and Holyrood Park. Princes Street Gardens offer a quiet walk within the heart of the city. Edinburgh also has a wide choice of museums and galleries. When you need to re-fuel after all that shopping and culture, there are plenty of places to wine and dine.

This area offers a wide range of outdoor activities including fishing, mountain-biking, golf, rugby, diving and water sports, horse riding and walking. The nearby River Tweed provides some of the best fishing in the world. The region offers a large choice of graded mountain biking routes, suitable for both novices and experts alike, and recreational cyclists are well served via a network of cycle routes. Further afield is the Pentland Hills Regional Park, featuring nine peaks to climb and with amazing views of the surrounding landscapes.

Barony Park is close to the A72 and A703, making it an easy commute into Edinburgh. There are also regular buses catering for the local area. Edinburgh Waverley train station has regular trains to Glasgow, Dundee, Perth and further afield to Leeds, Manchester and London King's Cross. For travel by air, Edinburgh airport is just under 28 miles away from Barony Park, and has a wide range of national and international destinations.
