Trattoria Il Forno sits proudly at the top of Trip Advisor’s list of top restaurants in the whole of Leeds, yet it’s right on your doorstep in Horsforth. Ira B’s, 2 Oxford Place, Tharavadu and Truffles are also highly recommended in the city centre, with countless other establishments to choose from serving all flavours and budgets.
EducationEducation is all around you in Leeds, with two universities and countless colleges making it a thriving student city. It all starts a little closer to home though, with Horsforth Newlaiths Primary or Horsforth Featherbank Infants both within easy reach of the development and West End Primary and Calverley Parkside Primary also close by as alternatives. Don’t miss the magnificently quirky Corn Exchange, or the 1million sq ft retail behemoth that is Trinity Leeds. TransportNorth west of Leeds, north east of Bradford, Horsforth is around six miles from each. If you prefer to take the train and avoid city centre parking, you can choose from two nearby stations, at New Pudsey or Horsforth, which will speed you into the heart of either city in under 15 minutes. From Leeds, you can make direct connections to trains serving the whole of the North, as well as rapid services to London and Scotland.
When it comes to venturing further, Harrogate is just 14miles, Wetherby is just 15miles and Skipton, gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is just 21miles. You’ll also find the extensive northern motorway network is just a short drive away in Leeds, or you can find flights for business or pleasure from Leeds Bradford Airport just ten minutes drive to the north.
