Renfrew is found between two junctions of the M8 at Arkleston and Braehead. The neighbouring town of Paisley lying on the opposite side of the motorway. Connecting Yoker on the north bank of the Clyde with Renfrew is the Renfrew Ferry, a crossing takes only a few minutes.
There are nearby train stations at Hillington West and Hillington East with services into Glasgow Central and Gourock as well as Yoker station on the other side of the Clyde with services to Dalmuir, Motherwell, Dumbarton, Cumbernauld and Whifflet.
